We are situated in Praia de Macaneta and offer stunning sea views. There is easy access to the beach, restaurants and local atttraction.

Macaneta Holiday Resort, has some safest beaches, temperate water and stunning scenery from miles around. Macaneta Resort is also famous for their warm hospitality and the most excellent seafood in Restaurant.

The restaurant caters for your cuisine needs, with fresh seafoods dominating the menu. Enjoy the sunset and the view over the Inkomati river, while you relish the fresh prawns, calamari and fresh line fish. Cuisine in Mozambique iis mainly chicken & fish with rice, but meat is plentiful and easily available-saefood is fresh and offered in abudance on a daily basis.

The Resort rakes and cleans the beach every morning to provide their guests with excellent clean beaches that are safe and warm, 24 hours security for you and for your vehicle.

There are double en suite chalets which is chalet for 4 sleepers, family size chalets-ideal for the family getaway or annual holiday. there are also Chalet for 2 sleepers only. We have camping, offering excellent facilities such as ablutions, bathrooms with showers, power outlets for your electrical equipment and a braai stand.

You will experience a warm and relaxed atmosphere and gracious hospitality.

Directions

We are 30km from Maputo.

From Johannesburg take N4 to nelspruit. From Nelspuit head towards lebombo and the border post. When you enter Mozambique, keep on the N4 for +/-100km.You will see a sign indicating XAI-XAI. Take this exit and saty on it for 33km until you see the Marracuene sign Board.

To reach at Macaneta you need to cross the Inkomati River by ferry, which is unforgatable experienced.Crossing the Inkomati River with the ferry (180Mt or R60) following 5km bumpy road and then about 3km sandy road, advise to bring 4x4 to reach at our premises.The resort is at the end of this road. A definite relaxed and unspoit vacation on a non-crowded beach.

We have our own passenger boat, which can take the maximum 50people, which take you till our Resort. Let our own passenger boat take you to your destination, or for the wild minded people , who seek adventure.
