Xai Xai is located in the Southern part of Mozambique.

Southern Mozambique's Rainy season (summer) is from October to March and the Dry Season is from April to September (winter). During the Summer, rainfall averages between 800mm to 900m and flooding is not uncommon. More pleasant weather is usually experienced during the Winter / dry seasons where the humidity is lower and temperatures aren't too hot.
