Zongoene Lodge
The Lodge accommodates a total of 60 guests sharing in varied accommodation types ranging from two bedroom family units (accommodating two adults and two children) or pool chalets (accommodating two). All have en-suite bathrooms and sliding doors opening out onto extended wooden balconies where you can enjoy the magnificence of your surroundings. The decor is both elegant and befitting of the Mozambican culture, it echoes of Portuguese comfort and luxury.
For something different enjoy the seclusion of the private self-catering Dunes Camp, where 14 guests can be accommodated in five en-suite, rustic chalets surrounding a private fresh water swimming pool. Allow your own butler to serve you sundowners while you savour the sun setting over the Limpopo flood plains and your dinner is prepared for you over the fires or in a fully-equipped kitchen. Butler/cook and cleaner available on request at additional charge. Cleaners are only available on request at additional charge.
Other facilities: Restaurant offering Buffet breakfast, light lunches and Buffet dinner, lounge, main bar, beach bar. Satellite TV bar, lounge, games room, pool table, volley ball two swimming pools. Un-spoilt beaches, huge sand dunes, prolific bird life, river cruises, fly fishing, surf fishing, deep-sea fishing, whale seasonal and dolphin watching, quad bike and 4x4 trails.

SELF CATERING HOLIDAY HOUSES IN XAI XAI
The Chalets are tastefully furnished and have en-suite bathrooms and sliding doors leading onto extended balconies. The pool chalets surround a large swimming pool whilst the family chalets are set back in lush indigenous gardens. The whole complex is electrified and all chalets and public areas have overhead fans. All windows and sliding doors also have mosquito netting for the protection of the guests.
THE DUNE CAMP
consists of 5 rustic chalets sleeping 14 in total. The Camp is self-catering and also has a dining area, braai and kitchen, swimming pool and is fully serviced, (Butler / cook / cleaners on request at additional charge) to help with food preparation etc.
THE CASARÃO ("BIG HOUSE")
consists of two en-suite bedrooms, and two bunk beds in open plan lounge / kitchen & dining area and an extended covered balcony. The Casarão is also self-catering (Cleaners on request at additional charge).
consists of two bedrooms sleeping 4 with a bathroom, and double size pull out coach (Sleep 6) – 4 adults & 2 children) kitchen/lounge/dining area and a balcony. The Casa Madeira is also self-catering (Cleaners on request at additional charge)

- Bird watching - Spot many unusual birds in the delicate eco-systems.
- Discover deserted beaches, massive sand dunes, coastal forest and African villages on (four) 4 wheel motor bikes,

- Explore the dunes and forest on our 2 hour 4x4 trail, challenging your driving abilities.

CONFERENCES:
The Conference Centre is fully equipped and catering can be provided for up to 60 guests. This well designed venue with access to spectacular indigenous gardens, provides a venue with a difference, a mere stones throw from the beach. A variety of team building activities can be arranged with unique cultural experiences.

One reaches Zongoene by road from Maputo via Bilene (a small resort town) or if arriving from the North, just after Xai Xai, there is a turn off to the left to Chicumbane. You will travel on 36 km’s of sand road. During the raining season it is advisable to access the lodge in a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
