Boa Vista Resort, located in Bilene Mozambique is situated only 180 km north of Maputo, and offers rustic, self-catering luxury accommodation located on the beach of the lagoon.

For guests' convenience, the houses are serviced daily at no additional fee, laundry services, as well as municipal electricity. A 4x4 is not required to access the resort, however is required to drive on the beach or climb the dunes.

Accommodation

Our beautiful Luxury Safari tents are specifically designed to give you and your family a camping feeling but with style. We call it Glamping.

Our kitchen is open with a gas stove and fridge/freezer, Bathroom with shower. In front is a boma braai where you can sit and watch the lagoon and the vast heaven with millions of star.

Fresh Prawns and fish freshly offered everyday after the night catch. Snorkeling is also a high and water sport galore. 4x4 trips to various interesting beautiful places.

Our newly build Bars called Bar Bêbado is open and just a walk away from the beach. Pop in for silly season drinks!

We are situated on the beach of the San Martinho lagoon with the dune behind us hiding the vast ocean of Mozambique. Deep sea fishing trips and boat trips can be arranged.

Tents 1-4:

Queen size bed, two single beds, clean linen, duvet, pillows, two bedside stands with lamps, 4 x bath towels, private bathrooms with a mirror, single standing fridge, 4 plates, 4 side plates, 4 bowls, 4 knives, 4 forks, 4 spoons, 4 teaspoons, 4 tumblers, 4 wine glasses, 4 coffee cups, 4 plastic glasses, gas stove, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and cooking utensils.

Tents 5:

Double size bed, clean linen, duvet, pillows, two bedside stands with lamps, 2 x bath towels, private bathrooms with a mirror, single standing fridge, 2 plates, 2 side plates, 2 bowls, 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 teaspoons, 2 tumblers, 2 wine glasses, 2 coffee cups, 2 plastic glasses, gas stove, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and cooking utensils.

Chalets 1-2:

1 x double bed, Large square mosquito net, clean linen, duvet, pillows, two bedside stands with lamps, 2 x bath towels, built-in cupboard with dressing table and mirror, single standing fridge, 2 plates, 2 side plates, 2 bowls, 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 2 teaspoons, 2 tumblers, 2 wine glasses, 2 coffee cups, 2 plastic glasses, gas stove, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and cooking utensils.

Resort Offers:

Boa Vista Resort offers a bar on the premises that is open from lunchtime till the evening for drinks.

Activities are diverse and interesting: deep sea fishing, scuba diving, quad biking and 4x4 trips out to see the environment - children will love this venue!

There are many hotels and bars around the lagoon to stop at, both within walking and easy driving distance.

Drive into the town for a great Mozambique meal of huge prawns and other seafood at one of about 10 restaurants. There are many bars, shops, a food and fish market, arts and crafts stalls, banks, doctors and even a small landing strip.

A Mozambique holiday at Boa Vista Resort will largely be spent on the picturesque lagoon with its beautiful white beaches and the open see over the dues a couple of minutes away. Children can swim safely and various water sports including snorkelling, kayaking, and boat cruises, jet skiing are allowed.

Food and Drinks

You can buy local beer and some liquor and cold drinks from our bar if you need.

In Nhabanga you can buy airtime, some needed stuff at the shop, liquor and ice.

Fresh prawns and fish can be bought daily as prawns are actually still alive and kicking.

Local bread (pau) can be bought from locals going to Bilene daily.

If you need any groceries which you cannot find in the local market in Bilene you can take up a trip to Macia to Shoprite.

Deep sea fishing, shore fishing, kayaking, boat cruises (available at very good rates), Portuguese cuisine, seafood, prawns, relaxing, sun bathing, snorkelling, windsurfing, jet skiing (bring your own), quad biking (bring your own) shallow safe swimming in the lagoon (great for children) 4x4 excursions - great scenery (bring your own 4x4).

Bilene is highly regarded as one of the best family destinations in Mozambique!!!

Be busy or do nothing at all !!! Bilene's sub-tropical climate is ideal for visitors all year round.

  • Jet ski hire, quad bike hire & scuba diving but you are welcome to bring your own quad bikes and jet skis.
