Highlander Fishing Lodge located in Praia do Bilene Mozambique offers a all-in-one vacation. deep Sea fishing charters, self-catering accommodation, Restaurant, Bar and a swimming pool. Highlander Fishing Lodge established in 1996 situated in Praia do Bilene Mozambique, 240km from the Lebombo border Komatipoort. We offer a fully licensed restaurant, bar with swimming pool and self-catering accommodation.

PJ Fisheries located at the lodge offer deep sea fishing charters and have a fully licensed fishery that will guarantee our guests of fresh fish served at the restaurant and for sale to the public (all fresh fish is vacuum packed and frozen) The legendary Piet Fraser and his son Pieter Fraser with more than 30 years experience in deep sea fishing will ensure that it will be an experience to remember!

We provide an unforgettable holiday experience to singles, families and large groups. The incredible, warm-hearted team of staff are there to ensure that your vacation clock is ticking at the required pace.

If you are not on the boat fishing you can relax at the pool with refreshments from the restaurant on the bank's of a fresh water river. The birdlife can be enjoyed from the restaurant deck.

Accommodation

Highlander Fishing Lodge Bilene offer self-catering accommodation. The lodge has a swimming pool, fully equipped restaurant and bar serviced available to our guests. The lodge has a licensed FISHERY to guarantee our guest of fresh fish from the Ocean! Boat's and jet ski's welcome, the lodge do have a washing bay to clean all water toy's! Book your deep sea fishing charter with Piet King or Klein Piet for an unforgettable deep sea fishing experience.

Family Chalets

  • Two Bedrooms, main bedroom with double bed and second bedroom with two single beds, Both rooms is equipped with aircons
  • Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, micro wave and cutlery to accommodate 6 persons
  • Lounge (can accommodate sleeping space for children)
  • Bathroom (Toilet, basin and shower)
  • Open patio with table and 6 chairs with build-in braai
  • Bath towels is provided please bring swimming towels. Daily floor service is included except for Sunday's and public holiday's

Restaurant

Highlander Lodge offer a fully licensed bar with a beautiful swimming pool. The restaurant has a relaxed and casual vibe with beautiful wooden deck overlooking a fresh water river. With the fully licenced fishery we can guarantee our clients of daily fresh seafood! For the Sports enthusias there is a big screen TV at the bar.

PJ Fisheries

PJ Fisheries located at the lodge offer deep sea fishing charters and have a fully licensed fishery that will guarantee our guests of fresh fish served at the restaurant and for sale to the public (all fresh fish is vacuum packed and frozen) The legendary Piet Fraser and his son Pieter Fraser with more than 30 years experience in deep sea fishing will ensure that it will be an experience to remember!

Those who are on a tight budget should keep a lookout for this category icon. This type of establishment offers dormitory (shared) bedroom accommodation with other "Backpackers" generally using either single beds or bunk beds with a communal kitchen and shared ablutions.

Bar On-Site:

Meaning the venue has its own bar on-site with staff serving alcohol/non-alcohol beverages and perhaps "pub-grub" included. They may offer satellite TV for bar patrons to follow the latest sporting fixtures live and may also host live music on certain days / evenings.

Bed & Breakfast:

If an establishment has this icon, this means they either include breakfast in their rates or offer the opportunity for you to choose to include breakfast during your stay which is usually served to guests in an on-site breakfast room dinette or restaurant. Some B&B's offer basic / light (continental) breakfasts, Full English breakfasts or buffet style breakfast options.

Full Board Accommodation:

Full Board means breakfast, lunch and dinner (also known as "All Inclusive"). If a venue is listed under this category, then they either offer guests the choice of a full board meal plan during their stay or their rates by default include full board meals. a lot of these establishments will have private personal chefs serving guests top class cuisine.

Group Accommodation:

Because this is a popular search and request amongst many, we have created this specific category for exactly that - group accommodation which is very much the same as our Holiday Homes category. These are establishments that can cater and accommodate for large groups of 8 people and up in the same house / unit offering most self catering facilities as if you are "home away from home".

Guest House:

Similar to a typical B&B, a Guest House is usually a private house offering very few accommodation units all within the main building structure (or some seperately). Some serve home cooked meals within their in-house dining room specially catered to seat all their guests and offer a lounge area where fellow travellers can interact, socialize and share stories.

Holiday Home:

A hotel is generally a large premises that can accommodate a large amount of guests in many adjacent rooms grading from standard 2 sleeper units to "executive" luxury suites offering more in-room space and facilities.
